Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website thesodomarket.com (the "Site") and our vendor booking services. By using the Site or booking a booth, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or book a booth.

The SODO Market is operated by Gb Open Space LLC, a Washington limited liability company.

1. The market

The SODO Market is a curated vendor market held at 1712 Studios, 1712 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134, on selected event days during the 2026 Seattle World Cup and beyond.

2. Vendor eligibility

• Open to small businesses, makers, artists, and food and drink vendors.
• Vendors are responsible for their own business licenses, reseller permits, sales tax collection, and any applicable insurance.
• Food and drink vendors: no cooking on site permitted. Pre-made, packaged, and non-cooked items only. Vendors handle their own permits and food-handling compliance.
• The SODO Market reserves the right to decline or remove any vendor at our discretion.

3. Booking and payment

• Bookings are made via the Site and payment is processed by Stripe.
• Your booth is confirmed only upon successful payment.
• Pricing tiers: $100 per day for 1-2 days, $85 per day for 3-5 days, $75 per day for all 6 tournament days (or full booking).
• All sales are subject to the refund policy below.

4. Refund policy

We are a curated market. If after booking we determine your booth is not the right fit, we will refund you in full. Other refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Cancellations made within 14 days of a market day are generally non-refundable.

5. Vendor responsibilities

• Bring your own 6 ft folding table, up to 2 chairs, and an extension cord for power.
• Arrive during the designated load-in window (provided after booking).
• Operate during posted market hours.
• Comply with venue rules, all applicable laws, and any reasonable instructions from market staff.
• You are responsible for your products, your sales, and your interactions with customers.

6. Communications

By booking with us, you agree to receive transactional communications by email and SMS related to your booking (confirmation, load-in instructions, market-day reminders, refunds, etc.).

Marketing communications require separate opt-in via the consent checkbox at booking. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from SMS at any time. Reply HELP for help.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site (text, graphics, logos, photos) is owned by Gb Open Space LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gb Open Space LLC, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in the market. Our total liability for any claim related to your booking is limited to the amount you paid for the affected booth.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gb Open Space LLC and its representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your vendor operations, the products you sell, your interactions with customers, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site or booking after updates constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
